Is Uncomfortable Bad?

Just because it’s uncomfortable, doesn’t mean it’s not right.
.
I’m showing up today and, truth, it feels uncomfortable.
.
I let life pull me out of my business this weekend.
.
It wasn’t Mother’s Day - it was more than that.
.
It was family drama. It was company. It was life.
.
The thing is, your business is you. So when you put your business down to focus on other things, you’re putting your power down.
.
When you don’t tap into your genius, your gut, your creative energy - you make it harder to access.
.
That’s not saying never put it down. If you need a day - take it. But take it with the intention of refilling your energy to show up as an even more stripped down version of your highest self.
.
Don’t do it with the intention of shutting off and numbing out.
.
You chose to do work that you don’t need to “flip the switch on” years ago.
.
Right?
.
I used to do that too - flip the switch off every morning as I headed into the office to do work I hated. Work that I needed to “bubble up” for.
.
No more.
.
So. Notice when something feels uncomfortable. That doesn’t mean it’s wrong. It may mean you’re picking your power back up to show up as the most powerful version of yourself: In your business; in your health and fitness; in your marriage; in your parenting; in your life.
.
Know that you deserve to feel powerful. And that it may feel uncomfortable at first. But you can still choose it.
